What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at Custom Concrete Company Inc?
Custom Concrete Co. is seeking experienced, hard-working concrete finishers to join our team in support of an increased workload due to our rapid growth and expansion within the residential construction market. Our finishers ensure the project as a whole achieves consistent results when it comes to final texture, thickness, and density in accordance with company and client expectations.
Essential Functions
Ability to finish concrete on grade to specified flatness or slope.
Ability to form and pour slab on grade, slab on deck, curbs, sidewalks and pavement.
Experience with the variety of hand tools required to finished, edge, and joint concrete.
Experience with walk-behind and ride on machine trowels.
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
Use a hammer or sledgehammer, shovels, and pickaxes for extended periods of time.
Utilizes small hand tools and non-complex power tools and performs minor maintenance as required.
Perform daily tasks in wet and muddy conditions and any type of weather, to include: extreme heat and cold, rain, and snow.
Climb in and out of box trucks, with or without the assistance of a ramp, carrying tools and supplies.
Maintain a clean and safe job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
