Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science\Software Engineering or 5 years of development experience
- Knowledge of Visual Basic.Net and C#
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, MS SQL Server design/architectural patterns
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Knowledge of Standard Change Management practices
- The position requires the ability to sit and type for extended periods of time. Standing, walking, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, and reaching will occur occasionally. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Candidate must be People Focused, Results Driven, and Innovative
- Familiarity with Appeon PowerBuilder a plus.
- The role of the Application Developer is to ensure the stability, security, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.
- This is achieved by writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and MS SQL Server database programming skills.
- The developer will participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce new code as well as revise, update, and debug existing code.
- Create and maintain documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
- Test and deploy applications in accordance with company change management policy.
- Provide training to co-workers for all modified and new applications.
