Custom Strut and Roll Forming specializes in manufacturing custom length strut and other products for the electrical, industrial and solar industries using a roll forming line. In addition to roll forming, manufacturing techniques such as punch press stamping, spot welding, fabricating and CNC machining are all used at Custom Strut and Roll Forming.

Job Responsibilities
- Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment
- Understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions; including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
- Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment.
- Perform repairs on various types of machinery, including hydraulic, electric and pneumatic
- Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Maintain clean machinery and workspace
- Create and maintain a schedule for inspection, service and testing of machinery.
- Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery.
- Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.
Job Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with heights and being in a snorkel lift
- Understanding of PLC programing
Preferred:
- Three years of industrial maintenance experience
- 1 year of fabricating and welding experience
- 1 year of electrical experience
Qualifications and Skills
- Drug free workplace
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience with driving a forklift
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
