- Load King Cranes TEREX Cranes Manitowoc Cranes Elliott Cranes National Cranes
- CTOS Equipment: Boom Trucks / Cranes, Bucket / Dump Trucks, Digger Derricks, Utility Trucks & more.
- Ability to rebuild hydraulic pumps, valves, motors.
- Background in hydraulic fluid power troubleshooting
- Background in pneumatic tool troubleshooting
- You should have 5 years plus of mechanic experience and will service utility trucks, aerial cranes, digger derricks, buckets.
- Must have 5 years mechanic experience, tools, valid drivers license CDL Class B a plus.

Summary
Being a field technician / mechanic is unique among service jobs: there is travel to customer sites, a flexible schedule, responsibility for a company vehicle, the need for significant customer interaction. You will determine and perform needed assessment, diagnosis, replacement and repair of CTOS equipment we rent, sell and customer units with minimal oversight.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- This position involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, major component change-outs, and preventive maintenance of truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment. CTOS primary products include Aerial Devices, Digger Derricks, Cranes, and Specialty Equipment.
- A normal day for an Mobile Service Technician / Equipment Field Mechanic could include on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, major component change outs, and preventive maintenance of truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment.
- State-of-the-art late-model service truck, built-in wi-fi and hands free, truck-mounted remote crane w/ outriggers, hydraulic drive air compressor, enclosed bed, body mounted toolboxes
- Work directly for the manufacturer with ongoing factory training and world-class technical and engineering support
- Company-provided specialty, calibrated, battery-powered, and large tools
- Base from home with flexible scheduling and overnight travel as required; overtime is available to support customer

Preferred Experience
- Previous equipment service/field/mobile Technician service experience
- Education related to mechanics, electronics, electrical or hydraulic systems
- Exp with, e.g., truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes; construction, mining, farm equipment such as dozers or tractors; military heavy equipment wheeled or track, aircraft, generator, ground support equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training
- Must hold a valid Commercial driver’s license
- Must have your own tools
- Physical effort to move objects and tools; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling and a high level of dexterity
