Job Description: IT Team Lead
SUMMARY: We are looking for an IT Professional to provide our customers with an excellent experience by managing and consulting their technology needs. This role functions as an IT team leader. The ideal candidate will lead a specific department based on organizational needs and will have a strong interest in emerging technologies, experience in a client-facing role, excel in multi-tasking, taking on new challenges, and working as a leader as well as part of a team.
This role reports directly to the IT Director.
Position Specific Competencies
- Provide Top-Notch Customer Service and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Design, plan, implement and support Microsoft infrastructure for cloud and on-premise solutions using the latest technology and virtualization
- Build, support, and maintain customers managed network, security systems, servers, and storage infrastructure (both virtual and on-premise)
- Maintain the protection of customer’s data and systems with firewalls security solutions, backups, redundancy, and disaster recovery solutions
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness
- Function as a Team Leader and technical voice to senior management for recommending new industry/technical solutions that will keep the company and its offerings relevant through the years
- Build, support, and maintain support documents, standard operating procedures and policies related to the network, security systems, server and storage infrastructure and best practices
- Collaborate with customers for quick technical assessment and proposal development for leveraging platform services to establish customers for Managed Services
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
General Competencies
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Microsoft technology stack, with extensive deployment experience leveraging various platform services
- Must have EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills and superior troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical ability
- Outstanding Project Management skills
- Have a good understanding in the implementation of advanced security, authentication, and single sign-on across cloud and on-premise
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently on multiple projects in diverse customer environments
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Must meet satisfactory criteria of Agency with regards to the results of a required Criminal Background check.
- Must be able to perform the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
