What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader position at Cutting Edge?
At Cutting Edge we are looking to find a qualified lawn care CREW LEADER, with proven experience looking to come in and lead a team. This is a full-time role with 3 day weekends!
Detail Overview of Responsibilities:
- Effectively mow, edge, trim and blow off grass pads
- Train and guide crew members, delegate work
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner
- Spot detrimental plant diseases or insect growth
- Communicate with supervisor/manager on property status
- Use commercial equipment such as mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers etc.
- Routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow company guidelines and expectations
- Seasonal on-call snow removal as needed
Desired Skill Set:
- Skilled in using power landscape machinery
- 2 years in commercial mow maintenance experience
- Great communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates ability to lead and follow instructions
- Advanced tool and equipment knowledge
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screening
Work Conditions:
- Ability to work with power tools and commercial grade mow maintenance equipment
- Capable of lifting 50lb repetitively throughout the day
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to work for 10 hours 4 days a week
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexible working hours including occasional overtime

Pay: Starting at $19 / hour
