What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Furniture Installer position at CWTC Moving & Storage?
CWTC Moving & Storage is now hiring a part-time Commercial Furniture Installer for the Triad's Premier Move and Installation Company. Our company is growing fast, and we are looking for team members to join our fun and exciting environment.
This position is responsible for the assembly and installation of various furniture products which can include casework desking, seating, filing, and other specialty products. This role will work in many different environments such as hospitals, commercial offices, senior living, schools/higher education, government agencies, and residential properties. Typical day includes loading product on delivery trucks, transport product to install location, and assemble/install product in its destination.
This position can be physically demanding, and candidate must be able to lift heavy items and be proficient with power tools. Applicant must be able to move heavy objects, assist and/or oversee the assembly of pieces as well as manage the install of an entire job. Installs are both residential and commercial. This role does require occasional time away from home (hotel stays) depending on the location of jobsites; per diem is provided in these instances.

Skill Requirements/Experience:
- 2 years of experience in furniture is preferred
- Fundamental understanding of basic furniture installation process
- 26’ Box Truck Driving
- Ability to read floor plans is an advantage
Expectations:
- You will be able to communicate with ease and have good customer service skills
- Ability to lift/carry at least 80 pounds
- Follow company dress code and safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- You will show a professional appearance, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
