The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is needed to continue the project work on the upgrade of the Next Generation 9-1-1 emergency call system. This resource is required to provide expertise and technical specialization on systems with the City during the architectural design, procurement, and the build phases of the NG911 Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The resources are required to complete the remaining phases of the NG 9-1-1 program which includes phases that address implementation, integration and testing.
- Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and business requirements.
- nalyze appropriate security assurance levels.
- Evaluate security policy and next-generation threats.
- nalyze and recommend -SSL encryption / decryption strategies, vulnerability protection profiles, content filtering and perimeter security controls.
- nalyze potential impact of new threats and exploits, develop and implement expert firewall solutions to mitigate threats.
- nalyze risks to critical applications and recommend security controls.
