AI/ML Intern

In the Data Science and Machine Leaning team at Cornerstone we are looking for solid hands-on technologists with solid time-management skills and experience in highly autonomous roles. You also function effectively in a collaborative environment and are comfortable making independent decisions.

This would be a Hybrid role.

In this role, you will…

• Utilize Knowledge of Vector Embeddings and Vector Databases.
• Apply your expertise in vector embeddings and vector databases to optimize data representation and retrieval processes.
• Work on projects involving vector-based search, recommendation systems, and similarity matching.
• Demonstrate Understanding of the RAG Architecture.
• Gain hands-on experience with the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture, understanding its components and functionalities.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of AI models and algorithms within the RAG framework.
• Utilize GenAI Agent Framework such as AutoGen and Semantic-Kernel.
• Leverage the GenAI Agent framework, including tools like AutoGen and Semantic-Kernel, to develop intelligent agents and conversational AI systems.
• Explore the capabilities of GenAI Agent for automated content generation, semantic understanding, and context-aware interactions.

You have got what it takes if you have…

• Knowledge of Vector Embeddings and Vector Databases.
• Interest in vector embeddings techniques such as Word2Vec, GloVe, or BERT.
• Familiarity with vector database systems for efficient storage and retrieval of high-dimensional data.
• Understanding of the RAG Architecture:
• Knowledge of the RAG architecture, including retrieval mechanisms, generation models, and integration strategies.
• Experience in implementing or working with RAG-based systems for natural language understanding and generation tasks.
• Experience with GenAI Agent Framework (e.g., AutoGen, Semantic-Kernel):
• Hands-on experience with GenAI Agent tools and frameworks for developing AI-driven applications.
• Proficiency in utilizing AutoGen and Semantic-Kernel for automated content generation, semantic analysis, and dialogue management.

Total Rewards:

At Cornerstone, our transparent total rewards program is based on three core tenets: equitable pay, market dynamic research, and skill-based appraisal.
The base salary range for this position is: $16 - $20 USD
In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package. Additional base pay may be available if you reside in a high-cost metro area (New York City or San Francisco Bay Area).
This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
