We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Management Support professional to assist in the execution and oversight of a cybersecurity compliance contract. The role is critical in ensuring project deliverables align with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, project coordination, and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Coordination and Oversight
Support the program manager in planning, tracking, and delivering all project phases, ensuring milestones are met within deadlines and budgets.
Coordinate daily program activities, schedules, and resource allocation to meet contractual obligations.Maintain program documentation, including project plans, quality control plans, risk registers, and status reports.Compliance ManagementAssist in the interpretation and application of cybersecurity compliance standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, ISO / IEC 27001) to program objectives.
Track and document compliance efforts, ensuring they align with contract requirements.Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate and validate the development and update of policies, procedures, and documentation for audits and assessments.Stakeholder Engagement and Contract Delivery SupportAct as a liaison between internal teams, contractors, and government or commercial stakeholders to support contract operations.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document decisions to ensure all parties remain informed and aligned.Provide clear communication on project updates, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders.Track the attendance of all contractor personnel and validate their daily time registering, activity logs, and weekly status reports.Risk ManagementIdentify and assess risks related to cybersecurity compliance and program delivery.
Propose mitigation strategies and work with relevant teams to address potential issues proactively.Track and report on risk management activities to the program manager and stakeholders.Performance and ReportingDevelop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success.
Prepare program status updates, compliance reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership.Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as needed.Process ImprovementEvaluate current processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist in the development of workflows and tools to streamline project and compliance management.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or project coordination, preferably within a cybersecurity or IT compliance environment.Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001).Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.Proactive and can-do attitude.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).Work Environment
