Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Avionics Software Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to support the development, integration, and certification of civil aircraft avionics systems. The role involves system-level testing, HIL execution, requirements-based verification, and compliance with aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Software Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for avionics systems
- Apply ARP4754A guidelines for civil aircraft and system development
- Understand system and software requirements and develop system test cases and test scripts
- Execute tests in System Integration Labs (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
- Support testing of Flight Control Computers and avionics subsystems
- Collect, process, and analyze test data using DIADEM or similar tools
- Identify defects, create Problem Reports (PRs), and follow standard PR lifecycle processes
- Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Use DOORS for requirements management and Integrity (MKS) for configuration management
- Support activities related to certification and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Avionics Software V&V or safety-critical systems
- Strong knowledge of ARP4754A
- Hands-on experience with flight control systems and integration lab environments
- Experience with HIL/SIL testing
- Proficiency in developing test cases and scripts using any scripting language
- Experience analyzing test results using DIADEM
- Familiarity with DOORS and Integrity (MKS)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DO-178C and/or DO-254
- Prior involvement in FAA / EASA certification programs
Background in aerospace, avionics, or other safety-critical domains
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
