What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire and Lube Technician position at CYPRESS AUTO REPAIR AND SMOG?
Our company is currently seeking Lube Technicians to join our team. The Lube Technician will be responsible for providing customers with expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations and brake services. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and boast a strong work ethic, as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of oil changes and maintenance to vehicles.
- Do routine checks on vehicles to ensure that any necessary repairs are completed.
- Communicate with service writer/s about vehicles and either answer questions about the repairs or find answers for them.
- Use tools to change oil, fix tires, and other vehicle maintenance work.
- Make detailed record of maintenance done on cars.
- Adjust mechanical issues with cars such as cars that are overheating or are starting to run poorly.
- Perform alignments on all makes and models
- Must have own tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
