Position: Biostatistician

Duties: Use SAS software experience (including BASE and STAT) to analyze Clinical Trial Data (CTD) and to provide statistical input into protocol design and the development of Case Report Form (CRF) for all therapeutic areas (trial design, sample size estimation, randomization, statistical methods for protocols, edit checks for CTD). Communicate with clients regarding study protocol or statistical analysis issues. Write statistical analysis plans including specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables and figures. Analyze CTD producing accurate results representing the outcome of the trial. Validate statistical outputs, interpret and communicate statistical results and concepts. Write and co-author with the medical writer statistical methods sections and produce the statistical appendix for the final report. Provide input into statistical standard operating procedures (SOPs) and general standardization efforts within the department (statistical methodology standards and standard data presentations). May telecommute from any continental U.S. location.
Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Health, Statistics or a health-related discipline plus 2 year of experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the job duties described above.
Salary: from seventy-two thousand to one hundred twenty-two thousand dollars per year
