The Global System Specialist role is part of the Cell Culture, Product Engineering team. The Product Engineering is responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of all product specifications for the Cell Culture business. This team also support product life cycle management, product registration and primary and secondary packaging.
The Global system Specialist plays a key role is supporting this large, international group to ensure they have the right systems, tools, applications and training to effectively and efficiently do their work.
What you'll do:
- Own troubleshooting, training and improvement of our product life cycle management system
- Communicate changes and updates to processes and interfaces to system to the broader Cell Culture business
- Improve interface between our life cycle management system and our ORP system
- Support the product engineering team with process improvement
- Work with other business units in Cytiva and Danaher to identify and implement best practices
Who you are:
- Master degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science or in a related field with 2 years of experience in industry; or BS in a related field with 4 years of experience in industry
- Experience with Oracle, PowerBI, Smartsheet, SQL
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
It would be a plus if you also had:
- Experience analyzing large data sets using coding (Python, R, etc.) and bioinformatic tools
- Experience in bioprocessing industry
- Experience with custom specification, production routings and bill of materials
