Queens GYN/Fertility practice is currently searching for outstanding NP, PA or Midwife to join our practice to perform GYN services. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an established and well-respected and diverse GYN practice that is rapidly growing. We offer competitive compensation and incentive compensation opportunities.
For GYN services, the qualified candidates must be certified and have completed a clinical rotation in GYN or women’s healthcare. The qualified candidates will treat patients effectively and comprehensively in an outpatient setting.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited program
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Personal and medical professionalism
- Passion for high quality patient-centered care
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform history and physical examinations and pap smears as needed.
- Document visits in electronic medical record in a timely manner
- Educate patients on their health conditions in a way they can understand.
- Follow up with patients more frequently for effective condition management.
- Utilize your support team to complete standing orders
- Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe drugs and other therapies as needed
- Make referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in meetings
- Work collaboratively with other members of the medical team
- Collaborate with the management team on quality improvement initiatives
- Have an open mind to feedback, different perspectives, reflection, and growth.
