We're looking for a responsible, energetic and caring individual to run our home daycare and manage regular pre-school and childcare activities. The candidate must have early childhood education experience and be comfortable working with children in a group family day care environment. This position requires a great deal of collaboration with the future staff as well as regularly interacting with the children and parents of children. We are looking for a lead teacher/daycare provider who is committed to working together with our future team to help children achieve their daily goals. You must have a valid NYS Driver License.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to children
- Oversee Daycare Maintenance
- Staffing management
- Manage website upkeep
- Develop Educational Programs and Standards
- Develop Curriculum
- Promote Positive Work Environment
- Supervise Subordinate Staff
- Initiate social media marketing campaigns
- Implement promotional strategies
- Record Keeping and Data Management
- Be responsible for identifying and treating the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the children in the daycare.
- Prepare meals for the children.
- Prepare snacks for the children.
- Create a safe environment for the children in which to play and learn.
- Maintain relationships with families and report any concerns to the proper authorities as necessary.
- Ensure proper safety measures are in place for every child in the daycare, including safety measures pertaining to kitchen equipment, chemicals, electrical outlets, stairs, and other potentially hazardous items.
- Provide a clean environment in which all children can feel comfortable and play without distraction or worry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
