D’Elia Auctions, LLC is a full service, family owned & operated auction company, specializing in the restaurant equipment & food service industry. We are a growing small business who are looking for individuals to be a part of our growing team! Safety is a big priority. Experience in the duties below are a plus.
We are searching for an individual who is reliable, motivated, has a strong work ethic, and a clean professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Basic knowledge of commercial food service equipment and willingness to learn.
- Ability to safely handle and move/transport Heavy food service / restaurant kitchen equipment such as large pizza ovens, mixers, electric ovens, steamers, food processors, dishwashers, slicers, bakery equipment, etc.
- Safely moving and organizing large heavy commercial food service equipment in warehouse with moving tools such as floor dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Using hand tools, electric tools, carpentry tools, impact driver/drill to prepare/secure items for freight shipping on wooden shipping pallets when needed.
- Duties include to clean inventory items, and assist other team members around the shop.
Requirements are:
- MUST have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug and/or alcohol test, if administered
- Must have a good work ethic (show up to work every day, on time)
- Ability to follow instructions
- Have good communication skills & be a team player with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills & ability to maintain organization in delivery vehicles and in the warehouse
- Ability to lift 100 lbs & heavier, bend & kneel while working
- Must be capable of operating hand tools & power tools
- Must have reliable transportation to & from our business location
- Willing to travel in CT & surrounding states for deliveries & item pickups.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday.
Additional Information:
- Hours are generally between 8:00am-4:30pm. Monday through Friday. Some days will start earlier, and some days will end later depending on routes.
- Pay depending on experience.
- 3 Paid holidays per year (after 3 months working).
- 3 Paid vacation & sick days per year (after 3 months working).

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
