We are looking for a Credit Research Analyst to support our Credit Department.
Summary
Responsible for detailed research & maintenance of a prescribed territory of accounts receivable customers. Required to maintain said territory within prescribed goals and with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism. Responsible for researching customer deductions and the resolution of customer issues. Required to work closely with the collector and other departments on the same set of accounts so that the highest level of communications internally is being revealed to learn each customer, allowing the best possible business practices between both parties to maintain or better profitability.
Responsibilities
- Research & resolve deductions for an assigned set of accounts.
- Reconcile credit memos to customer checks.
- Compile documentation and save into imaging system.
- Complete collection letters for disputed items.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must adhere to company policies, including attendance.
- Execute all duties with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- High degree of expertise in several discrete software applications required.
- Must be able to communicate to co-workers and customers in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements
· High School or Associates Degree with emphasis on business or accounting or commensurate experience required. Four year degree in business preferred.
