What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative - Deposit Review position at D.L. Evans Bank?
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing a variety of clerical support duties including answering the telephone and greeting visitors. He or she is responsible for retrieving debit card fraud alerts through FiServ EFT program and contacting customer regarding alert if necessary. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for reviewing and processing consumer and business customer’s deposits made through remote channels utilizing the Fiserv Deposit Review system. He or she courteously and promptly resolves customer questions and service requests or refers them to appropriate personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned Debit Card fraud alerts and assisting with other Debit Card functions
- Assist customers with basic questions regarding debit cards including but not limited to, card activation, hot card, suspension, etc.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of processing customers remote deposits processed through Mobile Deposit, ATMs, or Merchant Capture
- Ensures all deposits processed through the Fiserv Deposit Review system are reviewed and processed according to bank policy and procedures
- Answers questions and resolves problems quickly and effectively relating to Retail and Business Mobile Deposit and ATM Deposit for customers
- Informs management, customers, and/or branch personnel of any issues or problems promptly
- Assists branch personnel with branch capture item processing issues
- Assists merchant capture clients with item processing issues
- Supports Processing Center and Debit Card departments as needed
- Answers the telephone and fields or refers questions from customers, branch personnel and management
- Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns
- Helps other area personnel as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products and strong ability to use and navigate the Internet
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Well organized with good typing skills
- Strong proofreading skills
- Willing and able to assist coworkers with various tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as professional telephone etiquette
- Able to get along well with coworkers
