Accountant Essential Job Functions:• Month end close and general ledger maintenance
• Track fixed assets, accruals, miscellaneous cash, accounts receivables, prepaid accounts
• Accounts payable processing and check runs
• ADP management and upload MS Dynamics
• ADP/Payroll monthly reconciliation with General Ledger
• Shared resource across Health System
• Daily deposit including reconciling with Cerner daily report
• Monthly financial reports package for management and board
• Lead role in year-end closing and year end reporting (1099s)
• Various state database surveys of financial nature
• Special projects assigned
• Onsite accounting resource, steward of financial records and assets
• Position also requires working routinely with various management and administrative staff
• All other duties and qualifications/skills will be discussed at the time of interview
Education and Experience:
Education and Experience:
• Associates in Accounting or Finance or B.A. or B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to problem solve, organize tasks and set priorities
• Ability to set goals, achieve results and deadlines
• Two (2) or more years of relevant work experience
• Salary negotiable depending on experience
