About the Position
D. Ward Insurance Services, Inc. located in Kennesaw, Ga has a part-time opportunity for an experienced Insurance Commercial Account Manager. This is a great opportunity for a retired Account Manager who is looking to stay active or a former Account Manager who is now a Stay-At-Home-Parent and is looking to work while kids are at school. We are flexible on the hours and will work around your schedule.

Our corporate office is located at 3440 Blue Springs Road Bldg 100 Ste 101, Kennesaw, GA 30144, and our policy servicing is conducted at the agency owner's home office.
Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities
- Primary Purpose: Servicing Accounts - No cross selling
- Shift: 15 to 20 hours per week part-time (Flexible start time)
- Language Fluency English
The following is a summary of the required functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for offering information and advice to our customers. Common tasks include:
1. Maintain active expiration list through management system
2. Assisting the producers with the application process
3. Obtain information for quoting and market to agency’s carriers
4. Rating and preparing proposals for procedures
5. Collect signed application
6. Stay current with continuing education
7. Due to changing business conditions, agency may assign additional duties or functions to this position.
Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and or ability required.
1. Three years insurance experience in commercial lines.
2. Comfortable and enjoy communicating with the customers on the phone and by email.
3. Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
4. Above average interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
5. High School Diploma Required
6. Part-time, ability to work a minimum 15 hours per week
7. Familiarity with computer and word processing programs
Desired Qualifications
· Property & Casualty Insurance License
·Bachelor or Master Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or another related field Insurance Industry certifications such as (but not limited to) CIC, CRM, CLP, CPCU, AAI, etc.
Pay Range: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending upon qualifications
