Shipping and Receiving Assistant

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Assistant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing shipments of products and parts. Your duties will include checking and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy, preparing packages for shipment, managing inventory records, and maintaining a clean and organized shipping area. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy packages and operate material handling equipment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
