System Administrator II - Information Technology (I.T.) Department
Location:

Eligible for Hybrid Schedule: Work from home two days a week after 90 days of employement

Summary:
Responsible for installing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining all company systems and networks. Evaluate and deploy new systems/applications and upgrades; runs standard and specialized reports, serve as a resource to in-house users; maintain systems and application software in a current status; ensure the security of equipment and databases.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Rigidly adheres to all systems security procedures. Ensures all system are backed up; maintains daily log and records problems via Ticketing System; troubleshoots and repair critical system/network problems; ensures optimum response time.
Administer and support Office 365 suite configurations, policies and. Analyze, troubleshoot, and deliver Microsoft Cloud solutions on Azure and Office 365 platforms.
Monitors the performance of the network and virtual infrastructure (Servers and desktops) and storage arrays. Assist in the repair/replacement of all computer-related equipment, including communication equipment; installs new computer equipment, including cabling; installs software updates. Performs periodic preventive maintenance on equipment, including branches. Assists in-house users on day-to-day issues.
Assists in designing, implementing, and enforcing security policies that protect systems and data from access by unauthorized users.
Participate in BCP planning, implementation, and testing. Supports and enforces a disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plan.
Ensure infrastructure security, such as firewalls, databases, malware protection, and access control.
Diagnoses, Troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other network and system problems in collaboration with vendor support. Follows software vendor’s operating instructions and procedures as outlined in the manual and discussed in formal training sessions, contracting support personnel as needed.
Perform WAN/LAN (Cisco Hardware) performance analysis and security recommendations. Make necessary network changes (Routing, Firewall, IPS/IDS, Switching) to the CUs Infrastructure for new implementations and upgrades.
Maintains and supports in-house phone system (Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, IMP, Calabrio, Calero)
Contacts software vendors to report/discuss systems problems. Follows software vendor’s operating instructions and procedures as outlined in the manual and discussed in formal training sessions, contracting support personnel as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- 3-5 years of experience Enterprise Windows Domain
- 2-3 years of administering/supporting O365, AZURE AD
- 2-3 years of experience vSphere VMware
- 1-2 years of experience with VMware Horizon or VDI
- 2-3 years of experience as Cisco Call Manger / UCCX (CCNA Collaboration a plus)
- 2-3 years of experience in Cisco Networking (CCNA/CCNP R&S a plus)
- Minimum 3-year experience with financial institution applications.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as required and attend out-of-area training sessions.
- CompTIA Security Certification a plus
- MCP Certification required.
- MCSE Certification a plus.
- VCP Certification a plus.
- Strong Technical, written, and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
