We are looking for skilled Machine Operators to perform a set of tasks using machinery. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various machines to ensure the non-stop and efficient running of production.
A good machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. You will be part of a small group in a dedicated facility designed to make one product as efficiently as possible.
The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out to the best of our ability to maximize efficiency and profits.

Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain activity logs
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
- Follow production instructions of supervisor to ensure quality.
- Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors
Specific Duties
- Operate press, Plasma Welder, drill, shear, hydraulic machinery, bender and buffers and sanders efficiently and safely.
- Load, align and operate machines per drawing instructions.
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedure.
- Place parts in semi automated machines.
- Utilize micrometers, vernier calipers, welding equipment and hand tools.
- Check raw materials for quality and quantity ahead of loading into machine.
- Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine operator
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Teamwork and good communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime
Additional Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
Experience working in a factory using heavy machinery (Press, Brake Press, Welding)
