Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes the Daifuku Conveyors Shop manufacturing processes.

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes the Daifuku Conveyors Shop manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develops, evaluates , improv es, and documents manufacturing processes
- Develops and implement s process control procedures
- Directs improveme nts to facilities and processes
- Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality , cost reduction , and throughput
- Works with configuration control and design engineering on pr oduct tooling and design
- Consults with vendors about product specifications , arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material , and evaluating products according to quali ty standards and specifications
- Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.
- Designs and develops manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and relate d fixtures and tooling consistent with zero de fect level and low product cost
- Documents tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders , and conc epts
- Helps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field
- Engineering Internship/Co-Op experience preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean concepts
- Ability to l earn new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
