Position Summary
The Roller Assembler completes assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform s assembly based on drawin gs and supervisor instructions
- Follow s supervisors ’ instru ctions of work to be performed
- Performs self-inspection of work to ensure quality and compliance to specifications
- Uses computer to record assembly status
- Follow s saf ety instructions and rules
- Works overtime and assigned shift s as needed
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku ’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of hand tools , and power tools
- Knowledge of quality assu rance and self-inspection techniques
- Good verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
