What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at DAISY ADAMS CENTER?
The Daisy Adams Center, located in St. Augustine, is a mental health day program for dually diagnosed individuals. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team to assist with case management for approximately 55 clients. This individual will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the program’s medical-related needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing clients’ medical needs
- Taking weekly vitals
- Participating in Clinical and Medication Management meetings
- Reviewing and editing monthly MARs and medication records
- Ensuring the program complies with Medicaid rules and regulations
- Ensures billing documentation is submitted on time
- Ensures medication supply is up to date and medications are maintained in a safe and secure environment
- Sharing the on-call phone
The individual must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. They must also be able to work efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced environment and with various staff. Must be fluent with Microsoft programs and be able to spend long periods of the day in front of a computer. The ideal individual will emphasize organization and be detail orientated.
Typical office hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
