Position Overview:

Daisy Brand is seeking an Associate Marketer to support our Sour Cream and Cottage Cheese businesses at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. This exciting role will be heavily involved in project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Operations, Technical Services, Sensory, R&D, Finance and Accounting, Logistics, and more. Further, this role will provide support across all Marketing activities including brand planning, strategy development & execution, and business analytics.

You will be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the categories and their respective consumers, analyze business results, and develop recommendations that will drive business growth. This role requires high-level analytical skills, project management expertise, leadership, excellent inter-personal communication, and strategic & creative thinking.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Project Management
    • Leading coordinating cross-functional departmental meetings and managing timelines.
  • Involved in Digital Marketing execution, inclusive of E-Commerce, Website, and Social Media strategy.
  • Lead the execution of day-to-day operational activities including budgeting, coupon programs, monthly performance reports, and competitive reports.
  • Data driven business analysis and support.
  • Cross-functional and external agency coordination.
  • Customer Marketing and Sales Support through presentation development and analysis.

  • Problem solving understanding not only how to identify problems, but also the reasons behind them and, more importantly, taking initiative to solve problems.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 4-year Marketing or Business Management degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years CPG Marketing experience required; experience with food categories a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years project management experience with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Syndicated data analysis (e.g. AC Nielsen, IRI) experience a significant plus and/or category management experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Candidate must demonstrate initiative and have the ability to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities in a timely manner.
  • Candidate must be experienced in Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Project a plus.
