Description
The Control Engineering Team Leader oversees the coordination, planning, and technical support for control systems in various operations by leading a team of subordinate control systems engineers and technicians to ensure that equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety are maximized.
Principal Duties :
- Coordinating work activities, schedules, and development of subordinates
- Monitoring system performance and serving as an escalation point for technical issues
- Preparing budgets for daily operations of the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure based on location, equipment, labor and regulatory requirements
- Assists with preparation of proposals and defines scope of work
- Corrects subordinate engineering staffs schematics
- Manages and reports engineering activities for corporate control systems projects
Schedule and Travel :
Travel to Garland, TX, Casa Grande, AZ and Wooster, OH manufacturing facilities, and to suppliers throughout the U.S. will be required 25% of the time.
