Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Foreman to oversee our fabrication & installation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a solid understanding of general millwright, welding and/or pipefitting trades. Must be proficient in relevant software tools including the use of email. As a Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for managing a team of workers, coordinating project schedules, and maintaining quality control throughout the project.
$80000 - $90000 / year

Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of millwrights, welders and pipefitters on-site to ensure project goals are met.
- Utilize service management software for project tracking and documentation.
- Develop and manage project schedules using or similar various service management tools to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications and safety standards.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide the crew in executing tasks accurately.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations on the job site.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and regulations on-site.
Job Requirements:
- Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong technical knowledge including welding and/or pipefitting experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High school and/or technical school education
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using construction management software including Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and quality control measures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and contracts effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, subcontractors, and management.
