Human Resources Generalist
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting, onboarding, policy interpretation, reporting of information, employee and labor relations, benefits administration, hourly pay administration and timekeeping. Organizes a variety of Human Resource programs and provides professional level work and assistance to such programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-5 years of prior experience in human resources or related field
- Writing proficiency
- Organized and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- To assure employee safety
- Prepares personnel files and maintain personnel records in accordance to facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines
- Organize and conduct orientation and on-boarding processes for all newly hired employees.
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement programs and activities.
- Identify staff vacancies; recruits and interviews to help select applicants
- Reviews terminations and exercises care that reasons are well documented.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits
- Perform difficult duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes and help administer disciplinary procedures
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping to resolve work-related problems
- Oversees training and safety programs in context of compliance with state and federal regulations
OTHER DUTIES:
