Job Summary
The Endoscopy Technician plays a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and accuracy of the procedures.
Duties
Prepare endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms
Assist physician during endoscopy procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Verify equipment is functioning properly and perform safety checks
Maintain equipment, order inventory supplies
Assist with patient care including intake, transport, paperwork, patient education, follow up phone calls
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Proficient in the use of computers and office equipment
Flexibility and ability to multitask and cross train in other areas as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
