Position Summary
Dakota Oil & Gas Inc. is seeking an experienced Oilfield Production Supervisor to support day-to-day production operations at its McDonald, Pennsylvania location, Rocksauce Operating, LLC. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for overseeing production activities, supervising personnel, coordinating maintenance and contractors, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, leadership capability, and the ability to manage production operations while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily oil and gas production operations to ensure safe and efficient performance
- Manage production schedules and coordinate production planning activities
- Supervise field personnel and contractor activities
- Monitor well performance and production metrics; identify and address operational issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Coordinate routine maintenance and minor repairs with service providers
- Maintain clear communication with operations management and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to production efficiency and field operations
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead and guide team members effectively
- Experience developing and managing production schedules and production planning
- Strong knowledge of production management practices and oilfield operations
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating field activities and reporting
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to oil and gas production
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and production reporting systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, certifications, or equivalent field experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in oilfield production operations or a similar role
