The special services paraprofessional assists students with disabilities who need support to access the curriculum and benefit from their educational placement.
Pay: $17.06 depending on experience
Benefits: Health, Dental, Life, Long-Term Disability, State Retirement, PTO
Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday but may vary depending on room/building assigned to.
Skills/Requirements: High School Diploma. Driver's license required. Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity; see and read a computer screen and printed materials with or without visual aids; hear and understand speech at normal office levels and on phone; and to bend, stoop, climb stairs, walk, and reach overhead. Occasional climbing and reaching. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. All successful applicants must pass a federal background check per SDCL.
