What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tile Carrier - 2nd Shift position at Dal-Tile Corp.?
This is a 2nd Shift position working Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-2:00 am. The hourly rate of pay is $18.25. This position is located at our Plant on Fourth St. in Gettysburg.
The Tile Carrier operates and ensures a mounting line is supplied with tile.
Major Functions and Scope:
- Feeds finished tile onto conveyors to fill mounting boards.
- Keeps tile mounters stocked with a pattern or replacement tile.
- Empties scrap boxes as necessary.
- Removes empty skids and boxes from the line.
- Desands tile as needed.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education & Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
