Responsibilities/Duties
- Use ride-on equipment and customized spray equipment to apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns/landscapes according to label instructions, safety procedures and schedule.
- Drive company vehicle to client's location, make "scheduled" applications and document services provided using mobile device. Interact with clients on site, via email and/or phone as needed.
- Use mobile device to take pictures and document any concerns or requests for manager to follow-up on client properties.
- Promptly respond (within 24 - 48 hours) to client questions or requests for additional services.
- Load vehicle for daily scheduled work using app on mobile device
- Notify supervisor of any problems with vehicle, equipment or scheduled work in a timely manner
- Keep work vehicle/work areas clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- 1-3 years related industry experience
- NC or SC Pesticide License (strongly preferred, but not required) (Paid training will be provided to the right candidate)
- Turf grass degree or certificate preferred, but not required. (Paid training will be provided to the right candidate)
- Knowledge of spraying/spreading equipment
- Ability to read and understand a pesticide label (Preferred)
- Ability to calculate rates and amounts of products needed to complete work.
- Minimum 1 year of experience making liquid and granular application to turfgrass/ornamental landscapes
- Ability to maintain and personify our core values - positive attitude, customer first, professionalism, dedicated, and have a desire to succeed.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Must be able to perform physical labor for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of climatic conditions including extremes of heat and cold.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects 50 to 90 pounds.
- Must have a current driver’s license and clean driving record
