Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for creating, adjusting, updating, and finding appropriate coverages for the Employee Schedules for the ALF & MCC departments.
- Assists the Administrators of ALF/MCC with Interviews, Employee Training Schedules, including New Hire Training requirements and Continued Educational Training as required by the state of Oregon.
- Provide New Hire support by meeting, greeting and communicating with new employees and assuring trainings are completed before providing schedules for floor assignments.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the Employee Training Binder.
- Provides additional/supplemental coverage on the floor when needed.
- Participates in staff training.
- Organizes employee engagement events and/or gifts.
- Reviews turnover reports and assists the Administrators with retention plans.
- Helps to organize and orient agency staff, process agency invoices and communicate with agency managers.
- Supports & assists the administrator to address and process complaints.
- Assists Administrator, RCCs and Health Services Managers as requested on special projects.
- Works collaboratively with all members of the AL/MC Leadership team.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in senior care.
- Two year degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
- Experience serving seniors with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May be exposed to infectious waste and disease (including HBV and HIV).
- Moves throughout the Assisted Living during the work day.
- Must be able to cope with emotional and/or hostile residents, families, staff, guests and other visitors.
- Will be required to work after regular work hours, on holidays and on weekends as necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 40-50 pounds in a team effort.
- Stands, bends, stoops, twists, and turns constantly throughout the day in performing regular duties.
