Description
We are currently seeking a Ladies Locker Room Server/Coordinator to work in a unique hospitality service setting. Confidentiality and trustworthiness are of the utmost importance as the members and guests rely on the Locker Room staff to maintain the safety of their personal property.
This position will provide food and beverage service, general housekeeping, and upkeep of the women’s locker room. The successful team member should seek opportunities to create positive memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and building relationships while providing outstanding customer service to members and guests.
SCHEDULE: Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide bartending and food service for members and guests.
- Handle all POS system transactions for members/guests according to company policy.
- Restock all vanity products and towel supply.
- Perform personal services such as shoeshines, replacing golf shoe spikes and laces, and minor shoe repair.
- Provide for the safety and security of all members and guests personal property.
- Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests.
- Clean and maintain complete locker room which includes sweeping floors, picking up trash, bussing tables, and picking up towels from men and women bathroom.
- Maintains cleanliness of vanity and locker area. (Straightening of shoes, furniture and general clean up).
- Performs Opening, Running, and Closing Side work.
- Exhibits proper maintenance and sanitation of beverage area, stainless working areas, and storage areas.
- Maintain clean supply of folded bath towels and wash cloths.
- Assist in planning/execution of Locker Room Events
- Issue lockers to members and guests as needed.
- Coordinate locker name plate production with golf team.
- Inform supervisor of all guest/member complaints and suggestions promptly.
- Cross-trained to work in various outlets during off-season/idle periods.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
Qualifications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch
and twist or reach. - Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
LICENSES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Food safety certification a plus
- Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
MINIMUM QUALICATIONS
- Must be female, due to the work scope is in the Ladies Locker Room.
- Must be of legal age to pour/serve alcohol.
- Minimum two (2) years previous experience in customer service and/or F&B serving.
- Reliable and anticipated attendance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with taking direction, as well as communicating with team members of all levels.
- Highly responsible and well-organized in tending to ladies’ locker room area and members’ needs.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a private club setting a plus.
- Point of sale experience a benefit.
- Basic knowledge in shoe care a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with high level of professionalism a must.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to proficiently function in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25lbs with or without assistance.
- Available to work any hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
