ABOUT THE JOB:
At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Reliability Engineer based in our Fort Worth, Texas yogurt manufacturing plant! In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager in developing, managing and leading a world-class maintenance organization for maintaining the Company's long-term competitiveness. This position requires the ability to demonstrate excellent team building, people management, and leadership skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills, including face to face, written, and presentation skills, and excellent external and internal functional/ cross-functional communications skills.
Reliability Engineers are responsible for daily tactical execution of Daily Direction Setting priorities, coordination of mechanics, execution and follow up of planned maintenance work. In addition, the Maintenance Leader is responsible for developing planned maintenance strategies that support safety, people engagement, quality, cost, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be the technical expert for the assigned area and will partner with Engineering on equipment changes/installations for integration into maintenance processes. This position may be fixed on day shift or support off shifts; independent of shift schedule, this position is responsible to coach
and develop leads / teams on every shift within their area/lines.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Ensure the safety of our people and our products always.
- Attend and Support all line meetings as part of the Daily Direction Setting process.
- Responsible for scheduling maintenance technicians.
- Be a proactive member of the plant PM Pillar team.
Owns the Preventative Maintenance (PM) sub-system for assigned area - Owns the Breakdown elimination (BDE) sub-system for assigned area
- Owns the AM support sub-system for assigned area
- Additional duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU:
- You have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience, required.
- You have 1-3 years experience in food and/or chemical continuous processing plant, preferred.
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in developing, leading, and executing proven maintenance reliability programs, management of maintenance budgeting processes and frontline maintenance leadership, required.
