Position Purpose | Individuals in the Network Technician role are responsible for the maintenance and operation of Dartmouth's campus network. This responsibility includes all wired and wireless components of the physical network on the Hanover campus in addition to equipment in remote locations. It extends to the configuration and maintenance of the performance and fault monitoring systems, and the maintenance and installation of the telephone system hardware. Network Technicians respond to incidents and problems, escalate to Network Engineers and vendors as warranted, and partner with other organizations within Dartmouth to implement point solutions. |
