- GENERAL SUMMARY
- Integrate emergency care for individual patients and implement nursing standards in the processes of care.

- FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Utilizes the nursing process in caring for all patients, to include: assessing symptoms, planning interventions, implementing treatment plans, evaluating responses to interventions, and revising plan based on overall effectiveness.
- Demonstrates the skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to the population served.
- Adheres to the established practice standards and procedures at New London Hospital, in the administration of all medications and in-patient care activities.
- Documents care provided using hospital standards.
- Provides education to patients and families based on assessment of learning needs.
- Follows the Standards of Practice established for the Emergency Services Department.

- POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 years of clinical practice required.
- ED experience preferred.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state license.
- ACLS and BLS Required
- Area of Interest: Nursing Services;
- Pay Range: $36.5 - $51.38;
- Work Status: Set schedule. 2-12 hour night shifts per week. 7P-7A.;
