Overview
Under the direction of the CEO and President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock (DH)/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (0-HH) and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health's Chief Financial Officer, the Hampstead CFO and SVP of Finance serves as a key member of the D-HH Senior leadership and finance teams, responsible for the oversight, direction and development of financial planning activities and meeting financial goals for the health system. Collaborating closely with the health system's Chief Clinical Officer, Executive Vice President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center ("EVP DHMC"), Community Group Practice leadership and others, The CFO and SVP of Finance works to develop and implement financial strategic plans and goals. The CFO and SYP of Finance is also responsible for developing financial forecasts, budgets, analysis, and recommendations to support decisions related to key business performance measurements to ensure the long-term financial health of the organization. Understanding performance versus operating budgets and presenting overall financial results to drive future decisions are key responsibilities, as well as continuously monitoring and working to mitigate organizational financial risk. This role has overall responsibility for the Hampstead's operating and capital budget and long-term financial planning processes and related systems (e.g. EPSi and Axiom). A key requirement of the CFO and S VP of Finance role is to demonstrate a high level of integrity and foster an overall spirit of cooperation, trust and respect among management and staff at all levels, as well as with external contractors and subcontractors within Dartmouth-Hitchcock and across the System. The CFO and SVP of Finance serves an important role as the liaison to the Finance Committee of the D-H Boards of Trustees.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION: Master’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in business administration, accounting, finance, public or health administration or a highly related discipline.
- EXPERIENCE: Ten years of progressively responsible administrative or management experience in business, public or health management, accounting, finance, grants administration or a highly related field.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Proven leadership skills with successful management and supervisory experience; high level verbal and written communication skills; strong problem-solving skills, facilitation and organization skills; competence in functioning effectively and collaboratively with others to solve problems. Strong fiscal skills in all aspects of financial management including budget preparation, grants management, accounting, analysis, and financial reporting.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Administrative or management experience in a large, public or healthcare agency is preferred.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and/or acess to transportation for statewide travel to departments, providers, stakeholder business locations, as needed.
- CPA or similar professional designation is preferred.
