Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Associate located in Scottsdale, Arizona. You will be working as part of a dynamic research team reporting to the Research Director.
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Conducting secondary research and collecting qualitative data to consolidate into actionable reports
- Create written and graphic representations of research information
- Assist in interview recruiting and database management
- Obtain expertise, from a business perspective, in medical specialties such as oncology and rheumatology
- Collaborate with team members to complete Darwin reports and meet quarterly deadlines

Darwin Research Group is a research and consulting firm that focuses on health care delivery models. We specialize in conducting comprehensive analyses of health systems, physician groups, and emerging payer models such as accountable care organizations and bundled payments. Our goal is to help our clients better understand the health care ecosystem and succeed in the ever-changing landscape. Our clients include pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university
- Interest and prior experience in the health care industry (1 years of experience)
- Interest and prior experience in research (0-2 years of experience)
- Attention to detail; crucial in maintaining credibility with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health care delivery, health care administration, or the sciences
- Working knowledge of medical terminology; ability to understand complex health care terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Note: applicants are asked to complete a written assessment as part of the hiring process)
