Pricing Representative, North America
At DASI, the role of the Pricing Representative is critical to ensure that DASI is producing the best value from its inventory. Optimizing revenue and pricing models for DASI’s inventory is the Asset Management team’s key role and data gathered by the Pricing team is essential for its function.
This role is accountable for the following:
- Daily pricing activity, including conducting market and price research related to inquiries from the Sales and Purchasing Department and coordination of pricing requests/RFPs.
- Conducting efficient market data gathering activities including successful collection of phone and email quotations from competing vendors.
- Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inquiries related to pricing and management of inventory. Excellent spreadsheet skills are a must.
- You will also actively participate in process improvements by utilizing the DASI quality system.
Qualifications

- Has experience analyzing sales and pricing of assets or commodities, whether through experience or school projects.
- Has extensive spreadsheet and database skills, preferably related to the financial management of assets or commodities.
- Is self-directed, can maintain full or part-time hourly schedule and can work in a team environment.
Experience so that you can hit the ground running:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel is required.
- Experience with data entry and data reporting in a complex environment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and Skills using logic to solve problems and arrive at solutions.
- Knowledge of Inventory Locator Service (ILS) and other industry supply resources, a big plus.
Education:
- High School diploma required. In-progress college education in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
