Madeline L. Olewine Memorial Library is in need of a Manager that is passionate about the community and building relationships and partnerships.
The Library Manager is the primary liaison between The Library and the community it serves. This position supports the Library Supervisor in providing staff direction to ensure exceptional user experience, and customer service while promoting and interpreting programs, activities, and policies. In this leadership position, you will provide mentorship and motivation to staff and volunteers.
The Library Manager position is instrumental in developing community partnerships.
Education: MLS degree recognized by The Office of Commonwealth Libraries/PA Department of Education program preferred or 2-4 years of equivalent experience required.
Experience: Two years’ supervisory experience required. Technology experience required.
Required Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requires independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations; must be able to lift 25 lbs.
