Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to contribute to our team's success. As a Groundsman Crew Member, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the health and aesthetics of trees on our clients' properties. This is an excellent opportunity for arboriculture enthusiasts looking to build a rewarding career.

Basic Duties:

Collaborate with crew members for efficient project completion.

Assist in tree maintenance and removal tasks, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Perform rigging operations for tree care.

Operate equipment such as chainsaws, hand saws, and blowers. Contribute to the cleanup and removal of tree debris from job sites.

Drive large trucks and pull trailers.

Adhere to safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and pride in your work.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Advanced Job Duties:

Knowledge and execution of basic tree cutting methods, both in the tree and on the ground, with a focus on pruning, felling, and shaping.

Tree rigging in the canopy and from the ground, running the rope.

Operation of aerial lift, mini skid steer, grapple truck, and other tree-related equipment.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety protocols.

Previous experience in tree care, arboriculture, or related field.

Team player with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Physical fitness for demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (Required); CDL preferred

One year previous experience in tree work, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping is a plus

Proficiency in tree care techniques

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
