What are the responsibilities and job description for the TAW - Warehouse Worker position at Davenport CSD?
Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
Pay is $17.48/HR
Must have a valid drivers license
Reports to the Purchasing Manager
Assist in receipt of all incoming goods
Assist in the packaging of received goods and prepare for transport to DCSD buildings
Assist in the Physical count of inventory
Assist in stocking the shelves with new stock
Record on bill of lading
Pull & fill stock requests
Assist with loading & unloading of district delivery truck
Assist with movement of fixed assets from buildings
Assist with transfer of items in fixed asset software
Assist with movement of textbooks to and from buildings
Assist with transfer of items in textbook tracking software.
Assist Warehouse staff with pick up and delivery of materials
Other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
Physical Requirements of Position:
Must be able to lift & carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to take direction
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Stand, stoup, crawl & bend
Special Qualification Desired: (Personal Qualities, Education, Skills Needed, Experience, Etc.)
High School diploma or GED
Aptitude for working with numbers & units of measures
Attention to details & accuracy a must
Ability to follow written & oral instructions
Must be a team player
