Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Metal Stud Framer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate is skilled in metal stud framing, layout, and installation, can read blueprints, and works efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Install metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, soffits, and bulkheads
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble metal studs and track
- Install framing plumb, level, and square per specifications
- Coordinate with other trades on-site to meet project timelines
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a metal stud framer
- Strong knowledge of commercial metal framing systems
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
