Davidson is seeking a Full Stack DevSecOps Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
The candidate will support the Integrated Demonstration, Test, and Training Environment (IDT2E). The Full Stack Engineer will serve as a critical on-site resource within the IDT2E System Integration Lab (SIL).
Job Responsibilities:
- DevSecOps Pipeline Development and Sustainment: Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support secure software development and deployment in alignment with cybersecurity standards.
- Integration of New Capabilities: Rapidly onboarding new technologies or applications by integrating them into the IDT2E environment, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
- Full Stack Development: Delivering backend and frontend software solutions to close capability gaps and meet evolving mission requirements.
- System Assessment and Gap Analysis: Continuously evaluating the technical environment to identify and address performance or integration deficiencies, in coordination with mission partners.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicating findings, issues, and technical recommendations to SNC and Davidson stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution and continuous improvement.
- Infrastructure-as-Code and Automation: Leveraging modern DevSecOps practices (e.g., Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration) to enhance automation, resiliency, and repeatability in system deployment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience
- Experience with backend API development, microservice architectures, and containerized applications
- Proficient with CI/CD tools and workflows
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with OMS/MOSA frameworks and design patterns
- Experience integrating TDLs like Link-16, IBS, JREAP, and various LEO SATCOM architectures
- Familiarity with MIL-STD message formats and network translation layers (e.g. J-series, VMF, CoT, UCI)
- Veteran/civilian from MDA/Army with great soft/comms skills
