Position Summary: Provides quality patient care while producing quality images for medical diagnosis by performing a variety of magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
Minimum Education: Completion of 2 year course of Radiologic Technology Minimum Experience: Experience in MR imaging preferred Required Certification/Registration: Current WV Radiologic Technology license MRI Registry within two (2) years of employment in the MRI department. BLS Certification Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients Lifts supplies/equipment Working Conditions: Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Requires judgment/action which could result in death of patient Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances Handles emergency or crisis situations
